We love a wedding venue that feels genuinely New Orleans—not the touristy version of New Orleans, but the creative, colorful, lived-in city locals know and love. The Art Spot has that kind of authenticity. Set on Magazine Street and filled with original work by local artists, it feels less like a venue designed to look “New Orleans” and more like a place that simply is.
The space itself is open, airy and easy to make your own, with exposed brick, beautiful wood floors and lots of natural light. At around 6,000 square feet, it can host weddings of up to 150 guests, with room for everything from the ceremony and cocktail hour to dinner and dancing. There’s also a bright upstairs loft and flexible event areas that let you create a flow that feels natural instead of overly formal.
And then there’s the neighborhood. We’re always happy to have an excuse to spend time on Magazine Street, and your guests will be too. Surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars and galleries, The Art Spot puts everyone right in the middle of one of the city’s most fun and walkable areas.
